Normal skin

Usually characterized by good skin texture and normal pore size thanks to the excellent balance of sebum and moisturizing factors, making it not too oily and not too dry. Having normal skin requires skincare aimed at preserving this great balance and preventing skin concerns that would eventually occur due to ageing, sun exposure, environmental factors, etc.

Combination skin

A mixture of skin types that is usually characterized by an oilier T-zone affecting the forehead, nose, and chin which is prone to blackheads and large pores, and dehydrated or dry cheeks which are prone to flaking and redness. Most often, combination skin needs differentiated skincare approaches to keep both zones under control and their related skin concerns.

Oily skin

Usually characterized by shiny and thick skin with visible large pores. It is prone to blackheads and other blemishes due to the excessive production of sebum. It needs a multi-faceted skincare approach that controls the production of sebum without drying out the skin which could signal the glands to produce even more sebum.

Dry skin

Usually characterized by dull-looking and tight-feeling skin with small pores. It is prone to redness, scaly patches, and visible lines due to the reduced production of sebum. Dry skin needs highly-nourishing and hydrating products that rehydrate the top layer of the skin and seal in the moisture with protective emollients.

Sensitive skin

A type of skin prone to inflammation caused by the compromised skin’s natural barrier. Whether a permanent condition or a temporary one triggered by certain internal or external factors, sensitive skin is usually characterized by redness, burning, itching, and dryness to varying degrees. It needs minimal formula products with gentle, soothing ingredients that enhance the skin barrier and lower the level of inflammation.
